opera
during a trip to Madrid I was granted by the relative with the book great Operas, a recollection of the best known european operas. yet the story the book transfered me was about the frustration of unmet dreams. i turned the book into a series of scenes that take place during imaginary travels. all the elements are still there: the music, the characters, the story, the location but Opera resignificates them to créate brief reimagined encounters.
casas negras
casas negras is a series of 55 imaginary homes inspired by the architecture of Amsterdam architecture. simple volumes and lack of color enhance to enhance the long lasting search.
